aber hinfort mit dem spass...mich würde es wirklich mal interessieren, inwiefern das alles in die kontinuität passt..
was wäre denn da an serien....victory, masterforce, headmasters, robots in disguise...oder etwa noch mehr?

Wie ich schon sagte, ich will mich ausschließlich auf die Zeichentrickserien konzentrieren, einige hast du ja schon genannt. Nach dem Ende von The Rebirth, fingen die Japaner an auf ihrer eigenen Kontinuität aufzubauen, mit der Serie Headmasters, in welcher The Rebirth nie stattgefunden hatte. Zu dieser gehörten Figuren, welche man schon kannte, man ihnen zum Teil aber völlig andere Backgrounds verpaßte.

Soviel erstmal dazu. Ich überleg mir bis zum Wochenende wie ich am Besten anfangen werde. Entweder ich fange an mit den Headmasters oder, wenn ihr wolllt, beginne ich mit Fight! Super Robot Life Transformers! (die Serie hieß wirklich so). Letztere besteht eigentlich nur aus recyceltem Ami-Material. Die Japaner haben einfach aus den uns bekannten Folgen ihre eigene Serie zusammengeschnitten.

Dies wäre dann unser Fahrplan:

1b. Scrambler City (1986)
2. Transformers 2010 (1986-1987)
3. Headmasters (1987-1988)
4. Transformers: Hero (1988)
5. Transformers: Super God Masterforce (1988-1989)

7. Matrix Forever (1990 )
8. Transformers: Zone (1990-1991)
9. Transformers: Return of Convoy/ Battle Stars (1991-1992)
10. Transformers: Operation Combination (19??-19??)
11. Transformers: Beast Wars II (1998-1999)
12. Transformers: Beast Wars Neo (1999)
13. Transformers: Car Robots/ Robots in Disguise (2000-????)

Ihr seht es ist nicht gerade wenig, aber ich werde mir Mühe geben alles gut verständlich rüberzubringen.

Zusätzlich werde ich noch nach ein paar brauchbaren Links und Bildern suchen, damit jeder eine Vorstellung davon bekommt wie viele Verwandlungen die Transformers seit damals durchmachen mußten.

Sodele, Dreamwave hat mal wieder ein paar Details durchsickern lassen:

Dreamwave Productions’ spokesperson Adam Fortier recently checked in with Newsarama to lay out the studios’ Transformers publishing plans through April, covering posters, comics, preview books, the new series, and online comics. Here’s the skinny:
At the end of January, Transformers posters featuring Optimus Prime or Megatron will ship to comic shops to whet fans’ appetites. Following the posters, things move online.

“We'll be publishing the 6 page preview story for the G1 comic book drawn by Pat Lee online in the beginning of February,” Fortier explained. “At the end of February, that same story, plus an additional 10 pages of sketches and concepts will be published in a preview book, distributed to the retailers – one per retailer. In April, the fans can purchase a Diamond exclusive book, which will have the whole preview book – 6 page story, 10 pages of sketches and such, plus an additional 16 pages dedicated to the new Transformers line - an original intro story, plus some art on the new toys.”

April will also see the Transformers G1 comic series launch, with four versions of the cover of #1: Autobots, Decipticons, a Dreamwave incentive cover, and a holofoil cover. Additionally, that month will also see four posters: Autobots, Decipticons, Optimus Prime, and Megatron. The series will be written by Chris Sarracini, and illustrated by Pat Lee.

Ich benötige noch etwas mehr Zeit mit den Übersetzungen der wichtigsten Elemente der japanischen TF-Episoden, das ist nämlich ein ganz schöner Brocken den ich mir da vornehmen muß.

Dooh, ich kopier hier wieder englische Passagen, aber ich bin zu faul die enthaltenen Informationen auf deutsch zusammenzufassen.
Nur sovile als kleiner Appetizer: Informationen zur neuen TF-Serie Armada, das im Herbst eine neue Zeichentrickserie und Toyline startet ... und Infos zum kommenden TF-G1 Comics.

In the latest issue of wizard i just received in the mail there is a huge two page piece on the new transformers comics. Here is a transcript of what they said:

"Set in the Transformers continuity shortly after the classic series, the line known as Armada will feature both old and new Transformers, as both the Autobot and Decepticons duke it out over a mysterious race of pint-sized Transformers known as Minicons.

The new toy line should hit stores this summer at the same time as the armada comic mini-series from pat lee at dreamwave productions. Taking a nod from the Headmasters and Targetmasters Transformers lines of the late 1980s, the Minicons of Armada will be miniature Transformers that will connect with their larger hosts. However unlike previous lines, these attachments will be more than aesthetic enhancements. The connection will actually play an integral role in the toy's action features. On the comics side of things, Dreamwave will be fairly involved with the project, providing packaging art, insert cards, as well as exclusive mini-comics.

Coinciding with the release of the ongoing comic series, this falkl will also see the debut of the all new Armada animated TV series. The art style for armada represents a bit of a departure from the heavy anime of recent Robots in Disguise and computer generated Beast Wars shows. Instead, the new series look is more reminiscent iif the Japanese/American hybrid style of the original Transformers cartoon from the mid '80s."

Now onto the new G1 comic news:

In the article the basic plot of the comic is mentioned:

"the story focuses on the autobots- along with their imprisoned adversaries- attempting to return home to cybertron after finally defeating the decepticons. The homecoming is interrupted when a mysterious force destroys the ship, while it is still in earth's atmosphere. The blast detroys the ship, scattering the Transformers to the earth below. Years later , a scheming industrialist begins to uncover several of the original decepticons, selling them to the highest bidder as weapons of destruction. Now it's all up to an adult spike (the young boy who befriended the transformers in the original series to lead his own search for the autobots. but where are they? are they still functional? and more importantly where is the source of the transformers power, the matrix?"

(The article mentioned that it would take place before TF:TM)
as well as the tone of the comic:

"Hasbro fully understands who the fans of the original transformers are, so they're letting us gear this towards a more mature audience, i want to keep it fun but it's going to definitely have a nice adult edge to it."

Hach, heut' und Gestern war mein persönlicher T-Day!

Erst ein Werbeposter von Dreamwave (Optimus Prime) für lau abgestaubt und dann heute die Beast Wars DVD und vorallem die Megatron Büste in der US-Lieferung gewesen.
Und was sehen meine Äuglein beim Öffnen der Verpackung? Es gibt eine limitierte Unicron Statue! AARGH!!! Hat jemand mal $150 für mich?
Achja, im Previews ist auch die dritte Büste abgebildet Prowl.
