Hello!
Back in the 1980s/1990s I published ZINE ZONE INTERNATIONAL,promoting not just British small press but Finnish,American,New Zealand and even German zines.

I used to be in regular touch with publishers of PLOP!,Spruhende Phantasie,ZEBRA and many others. What small Press comics still exist today?

I have a yahoo discussion group on Euro comics but another for the Small Press anywhere http://groups.yahoo.com/group/britishsmallpress

I am trying to put an article together on small press around the World and would really like to hear from German publishers again!

You've come to the right place. Er, there is a great small press expo called HEFTICH in Hamburg, where all Self-publishers come together to sell and, er, primarly trade there comics. You have JACKPOT BABY in Stuttgart, BLUEMCHENS SCHACHT in Giessen, HERRENSAHNE in Duesseldorf and my own community, Cosmix Cologne. Hi there,
there are also some other indie-mags/fanzines like Panel, Omi, ... in the comic-scene. Also fanzines/small press like Limit, Trust, Persona non grata, Ox ... and something specialized about poetry or real fan-stuff (SF/Fantasy, Movies a.s.o.).
