Hi everyone (Anime conventions in Europe?)

Hi everyone, I am a newcomer at this forum.
My name is Chris and I currently live in the US.
I will be going to Europe in the summer for 3-4 months, and was wondering what kind of anime events were available for me to go to there, during that time...
Oh, and sorry for posting in English, as I am only able to read/write in English(unless some of you know japanese!).

the animagic
one of the biggest german convetions, organised by germanys biggest anime and manga magazine, celebrates it's ten year jubilee this year.
august 1-3 in bonn.

the other big convention in germany, this is more of a fan organised thing.
probably too late for you though, september 12-14.

in paris, france, this is the biggest of all european anime conventions
